Locally grown and community-owned since 2011, the Placerville Food Co-Op is a full service grocery store, featuring organic produce, raw milk, organic and grass fed meats, gluten free foods, bulk nuts and grains, kombucha drinks and more. How it All Started

Co-Op Planning Begins
David Harde lists Noah’s Ark for sale, and planning for the Placerville Food Co-Op began, along with the formation of the core group.

First Community Meeting
Community meeting held at Cozmic Café with over 125 in attendance. Virtual unanimous agreement to go ahead with Placerville Natural Foods Co-op information and fundraising.

Co-Op Opens to the Public

Co-Op Reaches 2,000 Owners
